Gone for over a year! No, the site didn't die, but I had a most horrific year and for most of it was without a working computer. Soon after uploading October 2009's update I started working on holiday stuff and while I was working on the November update my computer got a virus in memory... one of those things it is almost impossible to get rid of. By then Deccember had arrived and I couldn't find a techie who wasn't tied up. Finally connected with one the beginning of January. He worked on my computer all month, couldn't fix it and told me I would have to reformat the drive and reload everything. Sigh... So I did. Took almost two weeks. I started again, hoping for a quick update. The computer died. Yep. The hard drive was a goner. My techie sent for a new hard drive, but it wouldn't work. I dug out an ancient laptop and tried to work with it. Was doing fine for about a week. Then the screen went black. Back to the techie. Whatever lights the screen was dead and the computer was so old that replacement parts weren't available. I didn't have the money to rush out and get a new computer either. I used a neighbor's laptop to check mail, but I couldn't load all my Petz stuff on it. Saved up and got a new one in early September. But it has Windows 7 and it took me awhile to learn this crazy operating system before I could do Petz stuff. Finally, however, I managed to get going again.
During that time we had a series of robberies in the neighborhood and someone threw a rock through the glass storm door. The police thought high school age kids were doing the burgleries and one of them threw the rock because I was always home and that ticked him off. Needless to say, the repair took a chunk out of my bank account. A week later my brother died. My sister is Executor of the Will and discovered he left everything in a real mess. I've been trying to help her and that takes a lot of time. Then we had a terrific storm with winds of 80 miles per hour. Tore up my roof and I had contractors in and out doing estimates. OUCH! That is gonna be one big bill. As I tried to recover from the shock of the cost to replace the roof I realized that Thanksgiving and Christmas were upon us. I really, really, worked my butt off trying to get this update done for Christmas, but just couldn't do it. Sorry about that. I just hope this update makes up for all the down time.
Things are very slow in the Cyberpet world and will stay that way for a while. I updated Chicken Smoothie through October of 2009 and still have to do November and December. As of January 2010 I decided that Chicken Smoothie had changed in ways that I didn't like and that it was taking too much of my time. So I decided to just check it out during holidays. The owner and primary artist for the Magical Menagerie Laboratory is now in the service and is on a ship with little time for keeping up his site. So there won't be much going on there. Dragon Wings Freehold is relocating and nothing has happened there since August. I completely redid the Draconics Collection archive, so check it out. There's a bit more for me to add to the collections, but this Petz stuff has to come first.
I added a toy, the Straw Rolling Ball to the Terri's Petz 3 Page archive. Remember Frisky and Scrappy, hosts for that archive? Well, they have a page of their own now. You can read the story of their lives and even download their breed files.
Over in the Matador archive you will find Version 2 of the Hexer's base for Rafael's horse. It supposedly works with Petz Workshop, but since I don't use that program I couldn't check it out.
Rachael's Animal Trax archive is now officially opened! It features eight new Catz breeds: Cutey Cat, Faerie, Forest Pixie, Peppermint Pussy, Persian Puff versions 1 and 2, the Ginger Persian and the Pastel Blue Point. There are also eight new Dogz breeds: the African Rat Catcher, Anglo Dachshund, Brussels Griffon, Brown Fruble, Gray Fruble, White Fruble, Fuzhuzhua, and the FALOL Dane.
AND a brand new archive, Magnolia Grove! Magnolia Grove was a very popular site well known for its Munchkin files. There you will find only five non-Munchkin breeds which are out numbered by eight Calico overwrite Munchkin breed files, eight non-overwrite Munchkin breed files and three Munchkin files which can cause problems. Read the Non-Overwriting Munchkins Page 2 carefully as it will help you avoid those problems. You will also find some breeding tips, a PSP tutorial and a bunch of Holiday Gifts.
There's nothing new with Miz Angus right now. It has been over a year since she had an unexpected guest at her Halloween party. I figured that most people will have forgotten that movie and a lot of new people have never seen it. The next chapter in the story won't make much sense unless you know about Stratus. So, go watch the movie to learn about Stratus and Mr. Kojo's breaking heart while I work on the next chapter to the story....
Oh! before I forget. We weren't here Christmas Eve, but Santa stopped by and left something for you. It's hidden somewhere in this update. Open your present by clicking on it when you find it.
October 31, 2009
Five years. Wow! It's hard to believe we have been serving the Petz Community that long. Minibyte, Miz Angus, all the site hosts, their friends and families have had great fun finding files, hiding gifts, making movies and meeting you. We all hope you have enjoyed everything as much as we have!
Activity in the cyberpet world, except for Tessa's Adoptions at Chicken Smoothie, really slowed down. I think everyone went on vacation or decided to spend their time at the beach! I have a few things from the Magical Menagerie Laboratory which I will be posting in the next week or two. I also will be posting the September adoptables from Tessa's site, so remember to come back and check things out. For now you can look at Malk's updated pets. Find them on pages 2. 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 of the Tessa's Adoptables Archive.
The Terri's Petz 3 Page archive is nearly finished. I have just added two new sections and that means a bunch of great downloads for you! First, Rachael's Mom, Sue, has moved into an apartment at Golden Pawz Suites in the Hosted Dogz section. She has six wonderful breeds for you: the Choco, the Green Gage, Hazy Danes, the Ringo, the Satin and the Scampz. Have fun with all of them!
The second section added to Terri's archive is the "Members Only" page. Since the site no longer exists and Terri is no longer active in the Petz Community, there is no way for people to become "members." Therefore we decided to make our visitors members so that they can grab some goodies! Not going to tell you what they are other than that the downloads include dog breeds, cat breeds, a toy and some spiffy clothes. Enjoy!
Finally there are ten new hexed Corvus Corax petz in the Adoption Center! On Page 5 of the Dogz 3-4-5 section you can download male and female couples of Random's Target Pointed Mojo Shepherds, Black Patched Amstaff Terriers, Brown Patched Amstaff Terriers, and Maus Patched Amstaff Terriers. Then go to Page 3 of the Speciez section and download the Creme and Brown Sheep couple..
Miz Angus had a private, friends only, Halloween party. Even though we weren't invited, Miz Angus and Mr Kojo made a video of the day's activities... and their surprise guest! Be sure to stop in and view it..

Most popular store in town? Hmmmmm... I wonder what kind of store Leon and Kyra have and why all the kids in Petsville love it so much. Maybe we should try to find it and see what it's all about!
The Cyberpet artists as usual, have been busy! First, let's look at the Magical Menagerie Laboratory pets. The Zesty Equillion (Species #8) and the Faeron (Species #15) have matured to their old stage. The Yumenokei (Species # 36) have grown to adulthood. The Version 2 Chiryma (Species #2v2) and the Scuta (Species #47) have reached the juvenile stage. The Chiryma are molting and their feathers are drifting all over the place! The Jibiji (Species # 53) and the Version 2 Golossle (Species #3v2) have hatched) and there are some new eggs (Species #54) for which we have no information.
Now let's look at growths at the Dragon Wings Freehold. The Auquido (Species #3) have grown to their final mature stage. The Light Verai, the Volt Verai (Species #7) and the Stonelings (Species #11) have grown to the adolescent stage. The Stonelings, clutching their masks, are as cute as ever! The Shrak (Species #19), the Cocytus (Species #18) and the Szeret (Species #17) have all hatched. There are some new eggs (Species #20) but, again, we have no information about what sort of creatures they may be.
All of the July pets at Tessa's Adoptables have matured and have been added to the Archive. You might want to browse through the 2009 pets to see how Malk has updated the art for some of her pets. Both the original and new versions are displayed for you to view and compare..
OK, OK, I know. You want to hear about the new downloads. Well, first of all, the Silent Wolf Kennelz archive is finished. You can now download all of Tessa's breed files: the Finnish Spitz, the Kooikerhondje, the Lil Bunny, the Lil Bunny overwrite and versions 1 and 2 of the WlfHybrid. Then you can go on to download all of Manda's absolutely amazing Wild breeds: the Deer, the Lizard, the Mice, the Peafowl, the Tortoise, and the Toucan!
There are also some new files for all you Catz lovers Go to the Hosted Catz section of Terri's Petz 3 Page and visit Sue's apartment at Tiki Towers. She has two lovely breeds for you: the Abby and the Green Fly. The Green Fly is one of my favorites. Want a kitty without needing a breed file? Go to Page 1 of the Catz 3-4-5 wing in the Adoption Center and download a pair of Freaky Norgies hexed by Random Wiktor of Corvus Corax.
LOOK!! Two, not one, but TWO new Archives and both complete! Hurrah for me! Visit the Forever Autumn Petz archive and download three breed files and three playscenes by Kale. Then, click on the link to the Forever Autumn Petz trading card archive. Yes, ALL of the FAP cards for you to see and they are available for trade! Now you can fill those gaps in your collection..
Don't forget to say hello to Miz Angus. The last time we saw her she was getting ready to put Sandy to bed...

Oh look at the banner! Minbyte has adopted the Radiant Enileaf. She is a real sucker when it comes to fuzzy kitties!
Yes, it has been a long time since new downloads were posted for you. Those of you, however, who visit regularly know that there have been updates of the Cyberpets every week. Due to a lot of reasons, including changes to the source sites, got really behind on those! Well, I think most of it has been caught up now. If you missed the Cyberper updates (always at the bottom of this page, here are all the new goodies to admire!
Lots of growths in the Magical Menagerie Labs collection. Both the Mali (#18) ad the Ghaenelt (#23) grew to the old stage The Mali are beautiful and are crowned with jewels while the Ghaenelt have grown awesome and treacherous looking spines. The Wiurn (#1v2), Salaves (#10v2), Amphadron (#21), Kinoko (28), Galabex (#35) and Vespa(#42) grew to the mature or adult stage. This is a really interesting group. I The Stag Galabex finally grew antlers and the Regal turned out to be an absolutely magnificent creature. The dragon eating Vespa wasps are huge. Spirit says their paralyzing toxin only lasts for a second or two, but imagine how devastating for a dragon to be stung while flying hundreds of feet about the ground! The Pteropty (#37), Bwee (#39), Chelcauda (#40), Puff Razor (#43), Snorfle (#44), and the Lamadidron (#45) breeds all grew to the juvenile stage. The squishy Snorfle look like fat little pigs and make me laugh. The Enileaf (#49) eggs hatched into really cute kitten-like creatures. And, finally, we have three new creatures! Murp (#50) eggs appeared March 1 and hatched on April 1. The Lasobel (#51) eggs appeared April 3 and hatched on April 24. New eggs(#52) also appeared on May 17, but no species name was given and I don't have a clue as to what they may be.
There have also been several growths and additions in the Dragon Wings Freehold collection. The Iijok (#2) grew to the old stage and have been retired. If you didn't adopt one of those cute owl-like creatures, it's too late now. The Verai and Mystic eggs (#7) hatched on February 17 and March 8.The Reppequi ((9) grew to their adolescent stage. They remind me of pictures of medieval battle horsed protected by armor. Finally, new eggs (# 18 and #19) appeared May 17th and May 8th.
Now if you go to Tessa's Adoptables in the Chicken Smoothie archive you will see where I have spent hundreds of hours updating! Tessa added artists to her staff and the adoptables were becoming so numerous that it was difficult and a bit annoying to have to constantly renumber pages. So, I reorganized the entire archive. The cyberpets are now grouped by year and all adoptables through May of 2009 are now available for viewing! Lots and lots of NEW creatures and even items to decorate the pets and their pictures. There were special creatures for Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, April Fools Day and Easter. Be sure to check out all the fuzzy Easter bunnies!! June pets will be posted when they have all reached their full growth.
OK, now what you have all been waiting for. Again, these are files that took hours of work fixing and converting. I hope you enjoy them. Frst, for Dogz, go to Rachael's apartment at Golden Pawz Suites in the Terri's Petz 3 Page archive and you can download the Cotton Candy Dogz, the DaliDoodle, the Dollymix, the Magic Dog, the Silk Dog and the Tulip Dog breeds. All are available for Petz 3, 4 and 5.
Need some new clothes for your petz? Go to Terri's Petz 3 page to get the Quilted outfit, the Normal Glasses and the Normal Sunglasses. The glasses are like the ones that come with the game, but are smaller and more realistic. You'll like them if you think the game glasses and sunglasses make your petz look like clowns or Harry Potter wannabe's! Be sure to also get the clothes in the Silent Wolf Kennelz archive: the Shamrock Boppers and the Puss in Boots Outfit. By the way, Dogs can wear the Puss in Boots outfit as well. Why should they be deprived of that lovely pointy sword?? All the clothes are available for Petz 3, 4 and 5.
While you are getting clothes at Silent Wolf Kennelz, you'll probably want to grab some of Manda's toys. Again, all are available for Petz 3, 4 and 5 - ALL FOURTEEN OF THEM - and they all appear as themselves on the closet shelf or in the Carrying Case. You can download the Banana, the Pink Dog Food Bowl, the Kong, the Panda, the Teddy Bear, Froggy, the Polar Bear, the Pacifiers, the Ghosty Toy, the Rooster, the Hen, the Baby Chick, the Fruit Treats and the Scarey Snacks.
Hmmmmm..... looks as if there is some excitement in Petzville. Miz Angus has been quite upset and worried. Better check it out.
February 13, 2009
Awwww.... Milo made Valentines for his friends and it looks like he and Skeeter are out delivering them. He got Skeeter as a Christmas gift from his foster family. TANGO, TIGER, and Albus even made a terrarium for Skeeter that Milo keeps in his room. If you didn't see the December movie, you can look it up in Miz Angus' Journal and learn all about Milo's Christmas morning. Skeeter, his pet frog, was hexed by Alli of Sparking Cider. Visit her site. to see more of her fun creations! Hmmm... did you notice, just above the picture of Milo and Skeeter that the number of hidden pages has gone up again? That means you need to look at the updated pages carefully to find the link to the new gifts.
There are lots and lots of new growths, eggs and hatchings at the Magical Menagerie Laboratory. And some new Draconics stuff as well. But I still can't show them to you..... In fact, if you look at the MML pages you will see that nearly every link is broken. Disaster!! But fear not. Spirit gave up in frustration, dumped his image hosting service and bought a domain. He is moving and organizing the files on his new site as you read his. As soon as I can I will update all the image links. Check back frequently. I will probably do one or two pages at a time. It's going to be a big job!
You can still see the Dragon Wings Freehold creatures. The Light and Volt Verai (#7) and the Tryx (#29) eggs hatched. The Shadow and Wind Verai (#7), the Taylua ( #10. and the Groyte (#13) grew to the juvenile adlolescent stage. The Eudrace (#1) grew to adulthood and now have nasty looking spines on their backs. Better not try using them as mounts!
I have partially updated Tessa's Chicken Smoothie adoptables. I still have a quite a bit to enter, but horrible ice storms have caused a lot of power outages and surges. I shut down my computer during the worst of the storms and have just now begun to catch up on things.
I have lots of wonderful downloadables for you in this update. First, I returned to working on the Terri's Petz 3 Page archive. Go to Rachael's apartment at Tikki Towers in the hosted Catz section and get some of her Catz breeds. As Black as Night is an adorable Chinchilla Persian with a huge poof tail. Then there's the Buzzy Bee Cat. Its especially cute if you put antennae on it. The Lollipop Cat is available in two versions. Read the descriptions very carefully. Unless you have Lollipop petz from the original release of the file, you should get Version 2 to avoid problems with ID number conflicts. The Sunshine Cat is a pretty fantasy breed. Finally, the Dinosaurz are fun to watch. They transform as they grow up!!
Do you like Neopets? I've added all of Manda's Neopet breeds to the Silent Wolf Kennelz archive. You can download the Cybunny, the Gelert, the Kacheek, the Kiko and the Lenny. They are all in Unibreed format and will work in Petz 3, 4 or 5. They are Unibreeds because that was the format in which they were posted at Silent Wolf. A few people have contacted me because Unibreeds wouldn't work on their computers. This appears to be a rare thing, but if you have problems, e-mail me and I will convert the file to the standard game format for you to try on your computer.
Are you one of those people who loves horses and wants a realistic breed file you are allowed to hex? If so, here's a special treat for you! Go to the new Matador archive and download five, yes, FIVE wonderful and realistic horse breed files by Rafael. She even created one especially for those of you who want to hex horses. You can breed them. You can post bred or hexed horses for adoption. Rafael wanted them to be shared and enjoyed by all. She seems to have disappeared from the Pet Community, but I sure hope she returns and shares more of her skillful work with us.
Five horse breeds not enough for you? Well, how about fourteen downloadable horse petz? Yep. Seven different breeds with each featuring a male and a female pet. All hexed by the talented Random Wiktor of Corvus Corax. You'll find them on Page 3 of the Speciez Petz 3-4-5 section.
Oh, while you are in the Adoption Center downloading some horses, stop in to learn about Mr. Kojo's horse roundup adventure!
