So you want to know about the Archive, huh? OK, but let me introduce us first. I am Mugz, a wouldbe, sorta, maybe Setter from Dogz 1 and that cat getting tipsy on catnip up there is the original Fluffy from Catz 1. Poor Fluffy has a doppleganger. Minibyte imported Fluffy into a newer version of the game and her appearance changed. She now looks more realistic, is playing in Petz 3 and 4 and has a family. But Minibyte kept the original file so the Fluffy that looks like Fluffy is still alive and well. When Minibye saw that the petz changed in appearance when they were imported, she left me as I was. Hopefully she will one day convert our data to breed files and be able to bring us into the newer games exactly as we are.
You see, we are the most important, special petz that Minibyte has. We were her very first petz. We got her addicted to the Petz games and watched her become an obsessive collector of Petz game files, facts, utilities and other good stuff. Don't sit there laughing because you think we look a bit funny. We were considered superb back in 1995 when the game was released and Minibyte adopted us. Besides, you wouldn't have the opportunity to download all these files if it wasn't for us! Ahh... here's Cate to tell you what you will find here.

Good Day! I am Cate the Caterpillar. I was created from a Sand'z Cattery breed file. Sigh..and then Minibyte painted me green and dressed me in this ridiculous outfit. That woman gets stranger every day! Oh well, I shouldn't complain. She takes good care of all of us.
But you don't want to hear about me. You want to know what will be found here. First of all, breed files! Lots of breed files. Then there will be playscenes, toyz, and clothes. The files posted will be by hexers who are no longer active in the Petz Community and whose sites have either been abandoned or have disappeared entirely. Some of the more well known sites represented will be Anso's, Sky Blue, Petz Gallery, and Outkasted Misfitz. There will also be conversions of files from those sites so that you can enjoy them no matter which game version you use. There will be a lot of other goodies, too. Things like "Fun Facts`." game hints and tips, various game and hexing utilities... oh, maybe more. You will have to be super patient, though. Poor Minibyte has only a dial up connection and so many hours in her day. It is going to take a LONG time to get everything organized and uploaded!!! Minibyte will do her best to have something new for you each week. Come back often and have fun exploring the oldies, but goodies. NO, MINIBYTE! I'm talking about the FILES, not you! Sheesh!
